Bi-Weekly Wednesday Newsletter no. 131[GREETING GOES HERE] I ate watermelon for breakfast yesterday What's Going OnBackRopeI wrote this fun article on the story of rope and how rope works (there's a cute poem in there too) I thought it would be fun to write, and I needed a mental break. Anyways, here's some of the drawings: Puzzle GameI'm working with someone and we wanted to build a game, so we built it... Ref SearcherLast time I said idk if Mudboard would work out. I think I found one part of the answer: it's not sharp enough. I think I should try to help people find images on your computer better. I built this quick tool that lets you find an image by describing it. It's probably clearer if you watch it. Here's a 1 min explanation video Anyways. Mudboard is actually not doing too badly right now. I'm just impatient :< What I've been thinking aboutI've been thinking a lot about building reputation: I have a lot of things out there and I do a lot of cool things, but (1) there's no one easy way to describe what I do and (2) I'm not finding ways to tell people. How do I build out a public identity that's general enough that I don't get bored, but that is not so general that it's hard for others to relate? So I gotta figure that out lol. Probably means I should be posting on twitter or something. Thank you!I spent the weekend at a retreat for artists where we organized post it notes all day. It was actually really nice!
