Bi-Weekly Wednesday Newsletter no. 157[GREETING GOES HERE] Just came back from Tucson lol. It was like 100F+ a lot apparently but I just stayed inside all day What's Going OnMetaphorsHolistic HealthThis was a 3 part illustration series about living healthy in all parts of your life Random DrawingsI wanted to draw birds. So I did. I like drawing birds What I've been thinking aboutThought 1: This summer was really crazy! Very thankful, but I'm aware I have a tendency to jump from thing to thing without being intentional in how they are shaping me. I'm happy for the time in Arizona to step back and just reflect on what goals and values I want for myself. Thought 2: A reoccurring feedback I get with my art is that it just looks technically proficient but doesn't say or communicate anything. And yea....I agree I think it's possible to "create art" but not really be an artist you know? I need to be more aware and intentional with what I want to say instead of falling back on "looks nice" as a crutch Thank you!Stainless steel pan actually really cool I learned how to play Spirit Island. Very nice 10/10 but -2 because I was just playing by myself :< Next Newsletter on September 2nd! |

Bi-Weekly Wednesday Newsletter no. 161 [GREETING GOES HERE] it was pretty hot this weekend What's Going On Ipad Drawing Started drawing on the Ipad again. I missed being able to have the flexibility to draw elsewhere I got a keyboard shortcut thing I had this Ipad since 2020....so it's kind of cringe to look back at my old stuff aforementioned cringe It's quite nice so far, but it feels like a whole different medium. There's a different feel to the texture and drawing than my Clip Studio...
