WWN: revived my old ipad
Bi-Weekly Wednesday Newsletter no. 161[GREETING GOES HERE] What's Going OnIpad DrawingStarted drawing on the Ipad again. I missed being able to have the flexibility to draw elsewhere I had this Ipad since 2020....so it's kind of cringe to look back at my old stuff It's quite nice so far, but it feels like a whole different medium. There's a different feel to the texture and drawing than my Clip Studio Paint setup. I guess there's learning to do Random DrawingsWent drawing with friends at Randall Museum and it was really fun! I notice that I don't play too much with line weight, so I tried experimenting with implied lines and making more deliberate shadows I thought it turned out kind of nice haha What I've been thinking aboutI've been realizing that I've been very comfort-seeking lately and easily distractable when I intend to sit by myself to reflect It's also been a while since I pushed my skillset forward or experimented with more things I'm uncomfortable with But despite that desire to grow, I still want to be aware of my own voice. Sometimes I just get into the mindset of growing for the sake of growing and realize that I kind of hate the direction I'm moving in Thank you!Next Newsletter in on October 28th! |
