Bi-Weekly Wednesday Newsletter no. 158[GREETING GOES HERE] Thanks for all your comments and support last newsletter! What's Going OnEditorial IllustrationI really want to get work doing editorial illustration, and the past 3 months or so I've been really pushing hard to create a portfolio for it. Anyway, here's what I currently have. Still working on creating a few more pieces, but hopefully we're moving in a good direction We'll see how it goes! A lot of cold emails :< Instagram ReelsThe past few months I created anatomy reels for Instagram. Mostly to get more followers, but I also do like anatomy. I ran out of body parts, so I think it's a good time to wrap it up. It was a good experiment to run (and achieved the goal of getting more followers lolls) I'm already kind of splitting my time between doing publishing and editorial illustration, and having art education as a third lane is kind of hard to maintain right now Maybe in the future, but it was fun either way! Gotta figure out what to post on Instagram now.... Random DrawingsI quite like pairing illustration with text Kind of graphic designy mayhaps What I've been thinking aboutThis weekend I organized my fonts and it's actually so much easier to navigate now I've been coming more to terms with the fact that I get bored easily with things. So I think I want to try to use that to my advantage instead of feeling guilty about it I started reading short stories and it's actually pretty fun Thank you!I always had this grate in front of my window, but recently we removed it.
